THE MENENDEZ BROTHERS
The Menendez Brothers, identical twins from West London, are quite simply London's foremost party-starters. They are responsible for curating and holding down residencies at many of London's most prestigious clubs and festivals. They are regulars at El Row, Ministry of Sound, Glastonbury, Dimensions and are the brains and DJ’s behind vintage dance music night Feelings, London's most popular Hip-Hop party, So Fresh So Clean, not to mention heading up two of their own record labels Planetary Notions and Feelings... to name just a few of their many commitments.
It's no surprise then that they have come to be the capital's most in-demand DJ’s with their diary year on year filled to bursting with dates across the UK, Europe and as far afield as Beijing. They move from summer residencies at the likes of Ushuaia and Hï Ibiza, to the slopes for Snoxboxx and Snowbombing, and back on home soil for festival season which sees them as permanent fixtures at as host of UK festivals including Glastonbury. Then the rest of the year you can catch them hosting Casa De Salsa at Sushi Samba and Ministry of Sound alongside a host of club appearances and private bookings.
Their sets are a high-energy sweat-inducing mix of House grooves, Garage cuts, Hip-Hop anthems and everything beyond and in between. As the ultimate chameleon DJ’s, they have supported everyone from Frankie Knuckles to Idris Elba, Maya Jane Coles to Jazzy Jeff, on stages in Ibiza, Croatia, Barcelona, in Fabric's Room 1, at festivals and clubs everywhere while also holding down a Rinse FM residency.
