Ruby Confue is an Urban-Jazz, Soul performance artist based in London. Ruby released her album titled 'Psychedelic Urban Circus' produced by independent label Lighterthief in August, 2019 to great acclaim.
Ruby's sound fuses several genres from Soul and Funk to Blues and R'N'B. She has a distinctive Contemporary Jazz vocal style and has said her work has been influenced by artists such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Roisin Murphy and Erykah Badu. Notable performances include Glastonbury Festival 2017, a regular at Sofar Sounds London, Soul Circus Festival, Fieldview Festival and Boomtown. Ruby has a commanding stage presence and ability to connect with her audiences have led her to perform in Manhattan after winning the CMP and competing in Red Bull's 'The Cut' hosted by Tiffany Calver.
